Prisms are generally used for redirecting (invert, rotate, displace, etc.) light or dispersing the light source to its corresponding spectrum. Common design include: Right-Angle Prisms, Dove Prisms, Penta Prisms, Wedge Prisms, Equilateral Dispersing Prisms, Roof Prisms and Rhomboid Prisms.
